Harnessing The Energy of Nature in our Own Lives

If you know that raw foods give you energy you just know it. Maybe you have experienced it. Or maybe it just makes sense to you from a philosophical or scientific perspective.

Or maybe it is all of the above.

1. Body – I have felt increased energy, vibrancy, beauty, youthfulness, health and bounding wellness through eating a 100% raw vegan diet.

2. Mind – I understand the science behind how and why raw foods give us energy, nourish us, cleanse us, and heal us.

3. Spirit – I believe philosophically that plants, the truly natural foods available to all of us with no manufactured additives, in their natural state, are the healthiest thing we can eat. I can feel the truth of this.

But knowing it and doing it are two different things. One way to move yourself closer to that doorway into the land of raw is to just include more simple raw foods – salads, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, smoothies, nut-milks, juices, green juices – in your day, day-to-day, in your life, as you can, and when you can.

As you do this, of course you naturally decrease the amount of cooked food you are eating. And you start to notice yourself feeling better. And you lean towards what made you feel better. Sure, you make poor choices sometimes. But you keep making better choices as you can, and as you notice that you are harnessing the power of nature.

The energy of the sun, the energy of the air, the energy of the rain, the energy of the earth all come together in the foods we eat to nourish the bodies we live in.

Besides that we can partake directly of the sun, the air, the water, and the earth by getting outside for a time every day and soaking up and in these elements, raising our life-force, coming in to more alignment with the energy of nature’s food.

And as for expense if we take this gradual approach as we build up our energy if we channel some of it in the direction of our finances we can build those up so that we can start to eat more healthy, fresh, organic foods more often. And so spiral up the path to greater amounts of raw, greater desire for raw, and greater enjoyment of our raw lifestyle and all the energy and abundance it brings.

This is addressing our own energy crisis by harnessing the power of nature. Perhaps we can be a healthy little microcosm in our body that may begin to be reflected in the macrocosm of our global society.
