You’re the good kind of fat….

Screen Shot 2016-08-16 at 5.28.24 PMThere’s nothing like a big salad a day to turn your life around!

Sometimes it just takes the right salad dressing to get me back in a salad habit!

Here’s one that can literally get me out of bed in the morning I’m so excited to eat it…

Avocado, Honey and Garlic Dressing!

So simple. Makes the salad creamy and sweet and makes whatever it touches delicious! And the garlic with its anti-inflammatory properties is a boon for knocking out whatever ails you!

Creamy Avocado Dressing Recipe

1 ripe avocado
1 tbsp honey
1 clove garlic, cored and minced

Mash avocado
Stir in honey and garlic

Add to baby greens, romaine or any salad you like!

Sounds avocalicious, hahaha. I’m gonna try it after the 21 day and 28 day programm.

Oh, this is so true! I found my salads were less boring and that the dressings made all the difference, even if I were having the same greens all week long. The challenge for me now is having dressings ready quickly. I work nights full-time and commute part-time leaving me very little time during the week to prepare quality meals. This avocado dressing will take a little time before I actually have the salad, so will have to save it for a weekend, but it sounds simply delicious!

This salad dressing really does look awesome.
I am going to block out the honey to make it vegan and put in what – maple syrup or agave instead.

My only question is the garlic – fresh. I know it’s so good4U b u t — garlic breath is always a worry. Does it really send out a message like – OMG go brush your teeth? Will make it on my day off so – all good!!

Thank you so much for all your wonderful advice, recipes and inspiration. You are the Best!!

Jinjee, your (and Storm’s) recipes are the best. So uncomplicated, easy to have the ingredients on hand, and simple is best anyway. Thanks for thinking of us out here.

This was great! I tried it last night on a bed of mixed greens. I didn’t have honey so I used agave. Thanks for the recipe. So simple and delicious!
