Daily Raw Inspiration – How Challenges Heal

Seeing Challenges as Opportunities for Growth
One thing I’ve learned this past year is to value my challenges. They are
actually incredible opportunities for growth and self-understanding!
Write down your challenges — water fasting, for instance. You may
feel you can’t or don’t want to do it….A challenge can help us work on our
courage, our will, our determination. Even if we step up to it, but
fail, it is so much better than not having tried at all. We will still
be building character! In our failure there is so much to learn
about ourselves. What was it that derailed us? What thoughts? What
events? We stand to learn a lot about our triggers that knock us off
our path. And once we become aware of these triggers we can take
steps to avoid them, face them, or deal with them. Or sometimes, once
we have this understanding of ourselves, things will just shift all on
their own. Healing happens under the light of self-knowledge and
understanding.

Exercise: Take a challenge and see what you learn! And see how that shifts you!

Thank you so much for your comment! I’ll be using the TS Elliot quote in my Daily Raw Inspiration – how true for all raw vegans! :)
I also love your own concept of our “Will”, His “Power”! Beautiful!! I look forward to hearing more about your journey. Stop by again! :)

    Hi Jingee,
This topic brings to mind a powerful quite by T. S. Elliot, “Only those who risk going to far can possibly find out how far they can go.”. Facing our challenges and taking steps toward overcoming them takes “will power” (our “will”; His “power”), and , for me, knowing that my strength abounds when I yield to God’s guidance in my life, I can accomplish anything I sett mind to. Physically, I am experiencing, little by little, the incredible strength and vibrancy that is provided to us in the fruits of the earth! I have just begun the journey of this “raw lifestyle” and I am very appreciative of all you’ve shared…I have been greatly inspired by you, Storm and your family…my your good works continue to be a blessing to those who are open to it!
