Vegetable Protein Percentage Chart

Here are two great recipes to get your Greens for life!

Green Juice

Juice in vegetable juicer:

- 1 bunch kale

- 2 cucumbers

- 4 stalks (not bunches) celery

- 2 apples (including the peel and the core)

- 1 lemon (including the peel)

(Serves 1)

Green Smoothie

- 1 banana

- 1 peeled orange

- 1/2 bunch kale

- 1/2 bunch romaine lettuce

- 16 ounces orange juice

…Blend all in blender on high until totally liquefied.

(Serves 1)

    Well either your charts is wrong or the following chart is wrong because you’rs says spinach is 49% protein while this other chart says spinach is 4% protein. Tha’s a big difference.

    It appears that Steve’s chart is by weight, where Jinjee’s is by calories.

    Take the spinach example from Steve’s. 4% protein per 100gms is 4gms of protein. 4gms of protein is approximately 16 calories. 16 protein calories divided by 34 total calories is 47% protein by calories.
