Here are some photos of Storm doing his workout this morning. After his workout we went for our usual morning walk & business meeting, and today I gave him a surprise video interview about the secrets of his success in the anti-aging realm! I’ll have these videos ready for you on Friday.
They are going to be called “The Balance Series”, because of the realization that Storm has come to apply to both the diet and exercise arenas; that it is all about balance! It is easy to get into so many extreme versions of the raw diet, and to focus on one form of exercise or another. But just as it is important to get all your raw food groups, you also need to get all your different forms of exercise in order to have a balanced system. This balance is key to aging gracefully!
The videos will be called “A Balanced Workout” and “A Balanced Raw Diet”. These will give you the philosophy behind The Garden Diet Programs which are based on Storm’s long-term proven raw track-record for maintaining health and fitness on a 100% raw vegan diet over the last 40 years, from his 20’s into his 60’s!
I’m editing his workout footage (from where I grabbed these still pictures) in to the “Balanced Workout” video. I think you’ll enjoy this peek in to Storm’s philosophy, and a look at one of Storm’s morning workouts. Storm usually does his first workout at 4:00 AM out in the forest in the back of our house. Then he’ll wake me up and drag me out on our walk.
If you are familiar with Storm’s story you’ll know he spent years figuring out how to put on weight with the raw diet. He finally came up with a formula that worked…to exercise 20 minutes after eating! But then in his 60’s he started putting on a little weight around the middle and had to cut his food intake down and step up his workouts to maintain his physique. It seems you always have to be ready to make adjustments to your lifestyle as you go through the changes of life.
I notice that in getting rid of that barely noticeable 5 to 10 lbs. around the mid-section, Storm rejuvenated by about 5 to 10 years! It is just amazing to me what a difference such a small amount of weight can make. It is really the difference between night and day in the good fight to maintain health, fitness, and youthful vitality including the ability to work out and move like a young person.
